Qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1985 practicing family dentistry. She established a new practice, Granta Dental in 1990 with the aim of providing high quality, personalised treatment. Continuous care of motivated patients and their families demonstrated the importance of an holistic and minimally invasive approach to achieve tangible and lasting outcomes. Helen developed a special interest in the wide scope of temporo-mandibular dysfunctions which includes and extends beyond the mechanics of the joint. She holds a Masters in Biometrics and Fellowship of the Buteyko Professionals International.
Effective diagnosis and treatment of oral and dental disease, from periodontal inflammation to malocclusion and tooth wear is determined by the function of the masticatory system. Awareness and influence on the growth, development, postural and airway control of the cranio-mandibular relationship is fundamental to the delivery of both basic and advanced dentistry and orthodontics.
